Position: Medical Delivery Driver Location: Field based from our depot in Glasgow, serving NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Lothian sites in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Job type: Full Time, Permanent Shift pattern: Rolling shift pattern across three weeks:

Week 1 - Monday to Friday (rest days Saturday and Sunday)
Week 2 - Wednesday to Sunday (rest days Monday and Tuesday)
Week 3 - Monday to Wednesday and Saturday to Sunday (rest days Thursday and Friday)
Deliver and collect rental equipment to all hospital sites, primarily pressure-relieving mattresses, across the North Region of the UK.
Load equipment at the local depot, drive the van to hospitals, record serial numbers using supplied iPad and iPhone, and ensure accurate documentation of all deliveries and returns.
Lift bulky mattresses for long periods and use provided equipment to assist with moving products around hospitals.
Adapt to changing orders and re-plan routes to meet 4-hour delivery windows and any urgent requests.
Represent Arjo positively, building strong relationships with patients, nursing staff and other hospital personnel.
Valid UK driver's licence (held for at least one year) and a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift bulky mattresses for prolonged periods.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and amend route plans.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Practical and methodical approach to tasks.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
Willingness to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and to participate in an on-call rota.
Required Enhanced PVG Scotland clearance (cost of Arjo).
