In support of our continued and exciting growth, we are recruiting for a Kiln Operator at our Dalbeattie Mill. As a Kiln Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products - on time and to specification. Specifically, some responsibilities of a Process Operator - Kiln may include:

Loading and unloading timber into the kiln.
Monitor the kiln temperature and performance and ensure efficient operation and consistent production of quality products.
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting to address issues that arise during the firing process.
Working towards set production targets.
Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.
Full Forklift mobile plant operation.

We are seeking motivated individuals who are quality focused and understand the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of
Appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
Good computer, numeracy, and literacy skills.
A high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical knowledge of kiln operations would be desirable but full training can be given.
Experience using Forklift mobile plant vehicles would be advantageous but full training can be given.
A full driving licence.
