The successful candidate should be passionate and dedicated, and willing to take the holiday park to the next level in terms of the quality of our food.

Prior experience in this role or a similar role is essential. Applicants must also have a good track record and strong references. Their food hygiene and health and safety qualifications must be up to date.

The successful candidate will: -

Have a basic knowledge and understanding of how to prepare fresh quality food.

Be able to work under instruction.

Be able to assist in food preparation.

Be able to cook and prepare elements of high-quality dishes prepared by the head chef.

Help with deliveries, stock rotation of products and minimising food-waste.

Understand basic hygiene practices through an awareness of COSHH and HACCP, and have obtained a Level 1 and Level 2 in food safety.

Be a team player

Have a real passion for cooking fresh food using local ingredients.

A real passion for food preparation and cooking fresh.

An understanding of health & safety compliance across an industrial kitchen and adhering to house rules.

A Certificate in Food Hygiene would be advantageous but training in this area will be provided.

This role will suit someone who is currently studying or has studied at catering college, enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to progress their learning in a working kitchen.
