We need a practical, common-sense problem solver to help ensure our operations run smoothly. Building work: Identify areas in need of repair, doing some DIY or coordinating with contractors where necessary. There will also be opportunities to suggest and help support the operations management on projects relating to the improvement of the building. This will often involve investigating the business case and managing the project.
Waste: Manage waste streams on site, ensuring warehouse housekeeping and appropriate disposal of hazardous goods.
Systems: Ensure onsite systems related to safety and security are maintained and working correctly such as cctv, fire and intruder alarms.
H&S: Liaise with the Warehouse Management team to go through weekly and monthly H&S walks to action anything raised.
