At Gallagher, our Graduate Apprenticeship Programme in Glasgow is designed to start your career in accounting. Through this programme, you'll gain a degree, a Chartered Accountancy qualification, and five years of hands-on experience, all while earning a competitive salary.

From August 2026, successful candidates join this year’s cohort of apprentices. A comprehensive support network is on hand to help you succeed every step of the way.

By the end of the programme, you'll have achieved:

An Honours degree in Accountancy and Finance from Robert Gordon University

A Chartered Accountant qualification with ICAS

Five years of hands-on experience in a global finance team

A guaranteed full-time role with one of the world’s largest insurance brokers

About You

Minimum of BBBB Highers (must include English and Maths)

The ability to explain complex things in simple terms, and work well with others

The ability to spot problems and work out how you might solve them

Drive to learn and develop

Passion for a career as an accountant

The Scottish Government fully funds this programme through the Scottish Funding Council and SAAS. These opportunities are available for eligible candidates.
