Part-Time Playworker (Permanent Position)

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated qualified Playworker to join our friendly Out of School Care team on a part-time, permanent basis.

Location: Cambuslang / Rutherglen

Living locally would be an advantage, although it is not essential if you are willing to travel.

Hours

Initially offered on a zero-hours contract.
A permanent contracted position may be available following a successful probation period.
Approximately 10–16 hours per week will be available for the right candidate.

Salary: Competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

Hold an SVQ Level 3 qualification, or
Hold an SVQ Level 2 and be actively working towards SVQ Level 3.

Desirable Qualifications

The following are preferred but can be completed in-house if required:

Current First Aid certificate
Infection Control certificate
Food Hygiene certificate

A good understanding of current Out of School Care guidance and best practice is also desirable, including:

Out to Play
Playwork Principles
Play Strategy
GIRFEC
Other relevant Scottish childcare guidance
