Job purpose: Agricultural Engineering apprenticeship.

You will work with our experienced technicians learning about the repair and maintenance of a wide range of agricultural machinery. In addition to the qualification offered from SRUC, you will also be provided with manufacturer training for the products we sell. There is an opportunity for the right candidates to progress within the company to be fully qualified technicians, and move onto Master Technician accreditation.

What will I learn? You will learn all aspects of repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery, which is some of the most advanced in the sector. You will learn about electrics, hydraulics, engines, transmissions use of electronic service tools. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to learn about precision farming products and the place they have in modern agriculture.

What qualifications or qualities are required? You must have completed your Nat 4 / Nat 5s. All will be considered, but good pass rates in sciences and mathematic subjects will be preferable
