Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Musselburgh

Contract Type: 3 Months

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Full time, with flexibility and hybrid options

Overview

A well-established organisation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of their AP function. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier account maintenance.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume transactions in line with company policies and procedures.
Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Lead month-end close activities related to Accounts Payable, including accruals and reporting.

Skills Required:

Extensive experience in Accounts Payable
Strong working knowledge of financial systems and ERP platforms
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools.
