Finance Administrator

Location: Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire
Working Pattern: Office-based, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of an organisation in Coatbridge who are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused Finance Administrator to join our team in Coatbridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy and supportive working environment.

The Role

As Finance Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the finance function, helping to ensure that financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing purchase and sales invoices
Maintaining accurate financial records and databases
Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
Reconciling invoices, statements and transactions
Processing payments and supporting cash-flow administration
Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
Responding to finance-related queries from customers and suppliers
General finance and administrative duties as required
Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in a finance, accounts or administrative role
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working with figures and financial information
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
A strong communicator with a professional and approachable manner
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Reliable, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Experience with accounting software would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
