Are you an Accounts Assistant with aspirations of working for a thriving, independently-owned clothing manufacturing business?

Pettigrew Recruitment Group is delighted to be working alongside this luxury clothing specialist as they look to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support them as they grow. This is a key, fast-paced role and requires someone highly organised and capable of managing the flow of invoices through the business.

Reporting to the Director, duties of the role will include:

Processing of all invoices through the business and raising of purchase orders.
Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing.
Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts.
Answering client and supplier queries and building a good rapport playing a key role in providing relevant accounts information when required.
Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Collecting monthly direct debits and making payments.
Preparing and entering journals into the recording system.
Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.

To be shortlisted we are looking for the following skills:

Sage accounting experience is essential to hit the ground running.
Professional approach to work.
A drivers licence is required.

This will be a part-time role with the hours still to be negotiated but it is expected that they will be spread across Monday - Thursday, 4 hours per day to suit.
