To support our continued success, we are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk/Administrator to join our friendly and inclusive finance team.

The Role

As a Sales Ledger Clerk/Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, credit control, and financial record-keeping. You will play a key role in supporting the finance team with account reconciliations and customer account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing sales invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
Managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely payments and accurate records
Conducting customer account reconciliations and resolving queries
Monitoring credit control, following up on outstanding payments professionally
Posting receipts and ensuring transactions are correctly allocated
Assisting with financial reporting and month-end processes
Liaising with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment issues
Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales ledger or finance administration role
Strong knowledge of sales ledger processes, invoicing, and reconciliations
Experience with accounting software (experience with Xero is desirable)
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
