Based in Port Glasgow, our client is recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The organisation offers hybrid working-3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The offices are easily accessible by public transport and there is also on-site parking.

Your New Role

As Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of supplier invoices whilst supporting the continued success of the organisation's finance function. Working closely with finance colleagues, procurement teams and suppliers, you will help drive process efficiency, resolve invoice queries and contribute to the ongoing improvement of finance operations.

Key responsibilities will include:✅ Processing invoices ✅ Investigating and resolving invoice exceptions✅ Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries✅ Supporting supplier onboarding ✅ Supporting system testing, enhancements and integration projects✅ Delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders✅ General associated finance administration

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience in a finance administration or purchase ledger role. You will also have: ✔️ Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with suppliers✔️ Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement✔️ Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills✔️ A customer-focused and solutions-driven mindset✔️ The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
