Seasonal Streetscene Attendant (Temporary)

34 hours per week

About the Role:

Your duties will include:

Opening and closing park facilities
Dealing with members of the public, including children and young people and assisting with their enquiries
Supervising attractions such as trampolines, bike parks, tennis courts, and putting greens
Issuing tickets and providing customer service to park users

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need a long work history. We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience dealing with the public (e.g. retail, hospitality, volunteering)
Has good communication skills, polite and courteous with a responsible, friendly approach
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is physically able to carry out manual tasks, with experience of manual handling of heavier types of material or labouring work
Has an awareness of health and safety (desirable)
Has an interest in gardening or horticulture (advantageous, but not essential)

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.

This post is temporary until 28 September 2026 inclusive, working an average of 34 hours per week on a rota system which includes weekend working.

Work Pattern: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday 10.30am to 7.30pm (30-minute unpaid break)
