An opportunity has arisen within our busy legal firm for a motivated and enthusiastic secretary to join our team. This role will suit someone who can work on their own initiative with minimal supervision.

The role includes but will not be limited to, the following duties:

Audio Typing

Diary Management

Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries

Greeting clients at reception

Managing incoming and outgoing mail

Dealing with other professional organisations such as the Procurator Fiscal Service, Police Scotland and the Scottish Courts Service

Supporting the firm's partners

Legal experience would be helpful particulary in criminal legal aid work but is not essential and this role may suit recent graduates looking to progress their legal careers.

Salary is negotiable and the firm offers 20 days holiday plus 8 stat days, a company pension scheme and the possibility of some flexible working hours.
