We are currently seeking a dedicated Facilities and Estates Operative to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will assist in delivering a customer-oriented service that enhances the living experience for our residents. Your Main Responsibilities will include:

Carrying out regular cleaning of all internal and external communal areas, ensuring they are left clean, safe, and attractive for residents.
Assisting in the removal of graffiti and fly-tipped waste on the organization's land.
Undertaking minor repairs to communal properties and gardens, including planned deep cleaning.
Being adaptable and flexible, working across various service areas as needed.
Responding promptly to on-site customer inquiries and providing assistance.
Recommending suggestions for improvements to support wider decision-making.
Planning and organizing workloads to meet deadlines aligned with departmental service plans.
Identifying and resolving day-to-day issues or escalating when necessary.
Complying with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

MUST have a full manual driving license.
Experience in cleaning or caretaking is highly desired.
Experience in a customer-oriented environment with a flexible approach to working hours.
Knowledge of and ability to operate relevant cleaning and caretaking equipment.
Familiarity with the Health and Safety at Work Act and specific site safety regulations.
A good standard of literacy and numeracy for accurate record keeping.

Salary: £23,088 per annum
