Peace Recruitment is working with one of Scotland's most established Civil Engineering Contractors to recruit a freelance Site Engineer for up to 12 months in East Ayrshire, on a new renewables project.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct precise setting out of structures and equipment as per project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.
Provide technical expertise and support to the project team as needed.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Able to use Trimble Total Station & GPS.
Proven experience in setting out engineering on substations or wind farms is preferred.
Proficiency in using surveying instruments and CAD software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driving license.
