**Role Overview:**

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager / General Foreman to lead and oversee rail and bridge projects across Central Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating with the project team, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Manage and supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

- Monitor progress, prepare reports, and maintain project documentation.

- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site efficiently and effectively.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

- Proven experience as a Site Manager or General Foreman in rail and civil engineering projects.

- In-depth knowledge of rail infrastructure and bridge construction processes.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management are preferred.

- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
