Due to continued success, our client is seeking an Edinburgh-based corporate financial planner to assist with developing its award-winning offering further.

Extremely client-focused, this secure and well-established wealth manager offers market-leading financial and employee benefits advice through its highly skilled and qualified financial planning team and latest software.

The client base is made up of a wide range of businesses and the successful candidate will inherit this work with an aim to develop the client-base further and be fully supported by an experienced and locally based admin and technical support function.

Key responsibilities

Offer an outstanding service to prospective and existing corporate clients;
Provide advice on corporate financial planning and employee benefits such as insurance and pension schemes;
Proactively keep up-to-date with new developments in the tax, legal and planning world;
In-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims;
Complete risk analysis and design financial strategies.

The successful candidate

Possess over two years’ experience providing business financial advice (i.e. group risk/pension and/or employee benefits) and/or advising business owners (e.g. SIPP/SSAS in order to extract money from the business and building up their pension to purchase commercial property);
Chartered or Diploma qualified;
Inherently client focused;
Technically gifted with excellent analytical skills;
Superb communication and interpersonal skills with an engaging personality.
