We are currently recruiting for a Spa Therapist on a casual basis at Norton House Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Sweeping past the original stone gatehouse and journeying along the tree-lined drive of Norton House Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh, this prestigious Georgian country house leaves an indelible first impression. Like fine malt whisky, it has improved with age. Now a mecca for stylish dining, 21st-century comforts and cutting-edge technology blend with historic features to create a sense of the old and new working in unison. This 1840 country house hotel is an idyllic Scottish wedding venue and one of the best meeting venues in Edinburgh, thanks to its location, just 5 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre.

As a Spa Therapist, you will help support the success of your team, feeling engaged and ready to consistently deliver exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
You will be expected to demonstrate that you can deliver outstanding Spa treatments and develop your knowledge to ensure you feel confident in delivering positive recommendations for our guests.
Mindfulness and well-being is your top priority, so you will be passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure that all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind.

About you:

Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, working in a luxury 4/5 star Hotel Spa environment is desirable for this role.
It is essential you have current UK Spa Qualifications, NVQ Level 3, and are confident in demonstrating these skills, able to carry out all treatments including facials, massage, nail and feet treatments including gel nail application.
Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation.
You will be excellent at building a rapport with guests making them feel at home, relaxed and importantly identify and create magical memories at every possible opportunity.
Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.

Our Benefits include:

A competitive salary package of £14.00 per hour, plus commission on retail sales.
This is a casual hours role, working hours depending on business needs.
