We are currently looking for an experienced Addictions Worker to Join our integrated Drugs and Alcohol Recovery Service, based in Stevenston, North Ayrshire. You will play a key role in supporting individuals affected by alcohol and drug use across North Ayrshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a recovery-focused service that is actively involved in delivering national priorities, including the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards and the Near Fatal Overdose (NFO) pathway, helping to improve outcomes and reduce drug-related harms. The service's NFO pathway includes rapid follow-up, harm reduction interventions, naloxone provision and links into MAT and wider support services. As an Addictions Worker, you will work alongside Social Workers, Social Work Assistants, and lived experience Recovery Development Workers as well as colleagues from health services including Nursing, Psychology and Psychiatry. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will support individuals with complex needs through assessment, care planning, recovery-focused interventions and harm reduction, helping people to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. The role involves collaborative working with health and social care colleagues to deliver clinical and psychosocial interventions and support individuals on their recovery journey.
