Legal Counsel

The Role:

Our client a leading multinational technology company known for its diverse range of products and services that cater for both individual consumers and businesses globally is seeking a Legal Counsel to joins its UK and Ireland operations. In the role you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business ventures across the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Country Counsel, you'll be responsible for providing legal expertise and guidance on a variety of transactions and matters. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a talented commercial lawyer to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Negotiate complex hardware, services, and subscription-based software transactions.
Advise on legal risks associated with sales activities, including distribution, non-standard agreements, disputes, and online sales.
Conduct legal reviews of global templates, programs, new product offerings, and Go-To-Market initiatives.
Contribute to the development and delivery of legal guidance and training to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.

Required Education and Experience:

Qualified Solicitor in Scotland or England and Wales.
4-10 years PQE of relevant experience.
Solid legal knowledge in all relevant commercial areas of law.
Experience in drafting and negotiating sales, services, and software transactions.
Proficiency in advising on complex, high value/risk contracts and related matters.
Experience liaising with business stakeholders, preferably in cross-functional collaborations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple transactions and projects independently.
