An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established structural steel contractor delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. This role offers the chance to take ownership of commercial management across a varied portfolio of steelwork projects within a supportive and experienced team environment. What you'll do:

Manage all commercial and financial aspects of structural steel projects from pre-contract through to final account
Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and project forecasts
Carry out valuations, variations, and applications for payment
Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure commercial accuracy and compliance
Support procurement of subcontractors and materials
Monitor project costs and report on financial performance
Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, clients, and site teams
Assist with final account preparation and negotiation

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within structural steel or the wider construction industry
Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes
Ability to interpret technical drawings and contract documents
Experience with cost control, valuations, and variations
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction (preferred)
