Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Robert Gordon’s College in our Development Team to assist in building a strong community of supporters that bring value to the strategic goals of the College. The Development Executive will be part of a professional team who take pride in the effective delivery of excellent stewardship with high profile alumni, donors, sponsors and partners of the College.


The Development Executive will support the planning and delivery of the annual fundraising planning cycle coordinating enquiries, updates, visits and event bookings with alumni, donors, sponsors and partners. The postholder will be responsible for monitoring fundraising trends, stewardship plans, communication campaigns and the fundraising reporting framework.


The successful candidate should possess excellent face to face and written communication skills, possess strong organisational and data processing skills, and be proactive to build, maintain and strengthen relationships, ensuring accuracy at all times. Candidates would ideally possess experience of digital marketing skills, delivery of events, using MIS systems, and the Google Platform would be advantageous.


Experience of working in the higher education sector is helpful for working in the independent schools sector.
