  • Counselling, Wellbeing advice and Mental Health coordination

  • Immigration, Disability, Finance and academic advice

  • Advice and Support Centre

  • A residential student experience programme (Halls Life)

Student Services are looking for two Administrators to provide efficient clerical support in our busy customer service environments. One role will be based primarily at Eden Court, and the other at the Advice and Support Centre (ASC). You will be the first point of contact for all students, staff and visitors to Student Services, working as part of a dynamic administration team. You will have experience of offering a calm, warm and professional welcome to people presenting with a wide range of enquiries and issues. The roles require flexibility and the ability to work as part of a busy and reactive team in a fast-paced environment which can be unpredictable. You will also assist professional staff with general administration duties, including appointment and diary management.

  • As a Student Services Administrator you will have excellent communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to deal with students, staff and external stakeholders in a professional manner. You will be a proven team player and also have the ability to work independently, organising your daily routine. Experience of working in a busy customer facing environment in a reception setting is essential and you will be confident in your ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook is also essential. You will liaise with contacts in external agencies and with colleagues from across the University, therefore knowledge of working in an HE environment would be an advantage.
