Full Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

  • General administrative tasks.

  • Liaise with Sales, Quality and Warehouse departments regarding timely customer despatches.

  • Create/issue Sales invoices and credit control.

  • Coordinate Import clearance with freight forwarders and maintain accurate records for HMRC audit purposes.

  • Produce weekly/monthly reports for distribution within the company.

  • Assist Financial Controller with accurate maintenance of ledgers.

  • Collate of payroll information for submission to payroll provider.

  • Assist other staff with purchase invoice processing as required.

  • Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence, including maternity cover for HR assistant.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.

    Proven experience in a similar role.

  • Experience of Customs procedures for Import of goods to UK an advantage.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • A strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient in the use of M365.

  • Excellent time management and planning skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks.

  • Trustworthy, discreet with a good work ethic.
