Under the direction of the Active Schools Manager and Head Teachers, work alongside Active Schools Co-Ordinators to promote healthy lifestyles, tackle health inequalities, increase the range of physical activities in the target areas, and to increase participation in local club and community opportunities.

Extra Information:

The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 5; the hourly rate is from £13.76 to £14.85 and the annual salary is from £25,112 to £27,101. Please note this post is temporary for 23 months (until March 2026).

Working Pattern:

Flexible working pattern; however there will be evening and weekend work:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 12.30pm to 8.00pm
• Tuesday - 8.30am to 4.00pm
• Thursday - 5.00pm to 8.30pm
• Saturday - 9.00am to 12.30pm

This post is considered to be regulated work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
