Actuarial Analyst

Work collaboratively in the preparation of calculations and related advice including checking calculations undertaken by more junior team membersAbility to work independently to proactively resolve complex cases and queries relating to pension scheme specific features stemming from GMP equalisationDevelop internal networksProvide leadership, role modelling
and mentoring to members of the client team and the technical teamManaging the delivery of GMP equalisation projects efficiently and in line with agreed utilisation and recovery objectivesRelevant pensions experience. They are open to candidates who are taking exams as well as those who have decided not to take examsHave a good understanding of valuing UK pension schemes defined benefitsStrong technical actuarial skills and a preference to work on technical actuarial mattersPreference for candidate with GMP equalisation calculation experience, or knowledge of other similar technical actuarial calculations and ability to build up expertise in the near termWorking knowledge of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes, including treatment of GMPsAptitude in working with detailed actuarial calculation models#J-18808-Ljbffr
