Full Job Description

You will be required to assist with the financial systems and procedures operated within the School. A variety of IT packages will be used so a high level of computer competence including Microsoft packages, and in particular Microsoft word, excel and outlook would be advantageous although support and training will be provided.

This post is a permanent full-time position working 36.25 hours per week on a 47 week contract. This means that you are required to work only 9 days during School holidays in your first 5 years reducing to 5 days after 5 years of continuous service.

This post is regulated work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months in the last 5 years outside of the UK, an Overseas Criminal Record Check must be obtained. The candidate is responsible for obtaining this check. A confirmed offer of employment is dependent on the outcome of both these checks being satisfactory.
