Full Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join BEAR Scotland as an Administrative Assistant. This is a full time, office-based role with some on-site visits.


Based in South Queensferry and reporting into the Electrical team. We are seeking a diligent and organised Electrical Administrative Assistant to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will involve supporting out electrical department by efficiently managing cyclic inspections and maintaining accurate inventory records


Role includes:

  • Create cyclic inspections for electrical equipment
  • Communicate inspections schedules with relevant personnel
  • Maintain details records of inspection dates, findings and any required actions
  • Update and maintain inventory records for electrical components
  • Organise and maintain electronic and physical filing system
  • Liaise with internal teams, vendors and contractors

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and terminology is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, outlook
  • Familiarity with a database management software
  • Organising skills with ability to prioritise task and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
