Full Job Description

In the role of Administrator, you will have a pivotal role in assisting our Care and Quality Team and contributing to the overall functioning of the hospice. This diverse position demands outstanding organisational skills, precision, and the capability to prioritise a diverse range of tasks.,

  • To support the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Facilitator to ensure the implementation of continuous Quality Improvement throughout the Hospice, supporting the delivery of safe and effective patient care.


  • Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining well-organised administrative systems to ensure that a professional, proactive and efficient service is provided at all times.


  • To assist with all Day Services administrative duties, including creating and maintaining all leaflets, attending meetings and creating and maintaining any action plans developed. Working alongside the Day Service and Community Teams to create dynamic social media posts that promotes our services and encourages audience participation.

    HNC in Administration or equivalent relevant experience.


  • Essential
  • Highly developed typing skills

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel,

  • and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Data Protection Act/GDPR.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Previous experience of providing a high quality and confidential administrative

  • service.
  • Previous experience in data input and running reports.

    This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £23,000 per annum, pro-rata.
