Full Job Description

Due to our expanding client base, we are looking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Agricultural Tax Trainee. Our Team has an excellent reputation for providing a variety of accounting services to clients. As a company we invest in the training of our staff and continued development within this role also offers the opportunity for you to progress within the firm and to gain further qualifications. No previous experience is required as the successful candidate will receive on the job training to develop their tax knowledge., Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns.

  • Preparation of Income & Expenditure Accounts.

  • Building good relationships with clients and dealing with their day-to-day queries.

  • Corresponding with HMRC and others on behalf of clients.

  • Managing workload to ensure client and statutory deadlines are met.

  • Chasing outstanding information.


  • Being commercially aware.

  • Provide support to seniors in the team.

    Good numerical skills are essential as are excellent communication skills and a keen willingness to learn and develop.

  • Strong computer skills would be an advantage

  • You'll enjoy a challenge and be happy to work as part of a team to tight deadlines

  • Professional and pro-active, you will enjoy providing the best service possible to clients with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • You are positive and confident in your abilities, but you're also a kind, empathetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
