Aluminium Door Fabricator

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking aluminium fabricator to join our team based in our factory within Blantyre. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of senior architectural door systems, fabrication and assembly of Record UK Aluminium systems (training will be provided).,

• Assembly of above Products.


• Inspect and control the quality of products ensuring compliance to drawings and customer specification requirements.


• Highlight issues in the quality and/or on-time fabrication of product and ensure problems and questions are promptly resolved.


• Complete the assembly of orders to ensure on-time delivery in full (OTIF) to customer requirements.


• Eliminate waste and limit of unproductive activity.


• Ensure material issued to the Shop floor is protected and used correctly.


• Maintain a high standard of personal production performance, behaviour, absence, clocking in/out and timekeeping and comply with Company processes and procedures.


• Comply with Company H&S processes, procedures and principles.


• Ensure that your work area adheres to 5S principles to ensure that the area is clean, tidy, organised and controlled.


• Ensure that you adhere to all requisite legal, health and safety, environmental and general duty of care requirements.


• You may be required to undertake tasks outside of those detailed above as directed by the Operations Director and/or Management team.


• Contribute to ISO Business Management system.


You may be asked to complete the following additional duties;

• Offloading of bulk material and the safe and accurate location onto designated bulk store locations.


• Operation of forklift trucks internally and externally in a safe and proficient manner (training can be provided)


• Packing of fabricated doors and glass onto pallets and wooden frames and loading onto third party trucks and vans.
