Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Governance Team within Change and Digital Innovation (CDi) Business Unit at Scottish Courts & Tribunals Service.

The Governance Team is made up of three sub areas Finance, Compliance and Assurance Service and People Practice and Culture (PPC) and it is in PPC the role would be based this teams main remit is optimizing the workforce by providing training, developing workplace culture (like focusing on the right and most effective organization design), recognizing employee achievements, managing change initiatives, engaging employees in decision-making processes, and creating an overall positive environment for employees.

Promoting best people practice and cultures that help to continue to improve our working practices and culture within CDi and ensure we will have the right staff with the right skills to allow digital change to be delivered at pace and value.

The role would maintenance of key information systems relating to CDi people, and costs, analysing the data to support business decisions, recruitment, on boarding and induction of new staff and contractors, facilitating key communication across the team via week newsletter and the bi monthly All hand Call meetings along with identifying and aligning training to meet staff development needs. Working with line manager’s staff training and development plans and working with external training providers to source courses. You will work closely with all users (staff and managers to provide support and guidance to them). All of this works need regular reporting data produces and analysed.
