Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division have partnered with a hugely successful business in Glasgow City Centre as they seek x2 Finance Assistants on a 6m FTC with potential to move to a permanent post. This role will be based fully onsite in their new Glasgow City Centre premises, M-F 9am - 5.30pm.

Reporting into the Finance Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the Finance team's busy summer period, supporting across multi-currency payment processing, invoice processing and account reconciliation. Key duties within the role will surround:

 

  • Input multicurrency supplier charges and invoices into the accounting system

  • Manage supplier payment runs

  • Handle and reconcile credit card transactions

  • Ensure accuracy in reconciling supplier balances

  • Address supplier and interdepartmental inquiries via email and phone, fostering relationships with both suppliers and internal teams

  • Contribute to the month-end process to maintain precision in management accounts

  • Perform other ad hoc duties as needed

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Familiarity with NetSuite or a similar accounting software

  • Proficiency in supplier interactions

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot and devise innovative solutions to improve processes

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail

  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a rapidly expanding business environment

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in a European language

  • Prior experience with NetSuite

 

Offering a base salary of up to £23,400 + excellent benefits.
