Full Job Description

West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding Construction Assessor in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment to support the delivery of construction programmes. You will be based in college to facilitate the student's assessment and planning and will also carry out visits and observation assessment within student work places and ability to travel to meet student needs.

You will be educated to SVQ 3 Carpentry and Joinery (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent in the sector and be assessor qualified or prepared to complete an assessor award within three months of starting. You will have substantial experience within this sector, excellent organisational skills to prioritise effectively and the ability to communicate at all levels in order to help others achieve.
