Asset Officer

We have a current opportunity for a Asset Officer on a temporary basis for initially around 6 weeks.

The position will be based in Glasgow however you will be required to cover a larger area and therefor a driving licence is essential, a car is preferred however that can potentially be worked around.

The main duties of the role are:

• Responsible for planned projects and adaptations to include preparing sketches, technical specifications/descriptions of work and to obtain contractor's quotations
• liaising closely with internal, regional and local authority staff to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
• Undertake property surveys and develop/ update the asset register and stock condition data base as necessary
• Provide onsite project management of planned refurbishments, adaptations and major repairs from inception to completion in order to efficiently deliver the approved programme in compliance with the allocated budget.

Previous experience is essential for this role.
