Mitchell & Murdoch Care is a Care at Home Company providing high quality professional care. We provide Support to people in their own homes throughout Falkirk council Areas

Our leadership team are there to guide and support you with your professional development, pushing you to progress towards the next step in your career., We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to Oversee the running of our New Falkirk Branch.

As part of our team at MM Support your main duties will include:

  • Delivering high standards of care to clients in their own homes

  • Deputise for the manager in her absence

  • be able to work on your own

  • actively seek out and explore new business opportunities for the company

  • conduct and manage new care packages and ensure reviews are conducted on time.

  • Monitor and review staff sickness and annual leave .

  • Meeting the care needs of service users in a person centred approach

  • Working within Health & Social Care Standards in line with company policies

  • Ensuring the protection, wellbeing and safety of clients

  • Ensuring effective written and oral communication

  • Managing an effective team

  • Line manage and supervise Care Workers and senior care workers

  • Organise and coordinate weekly, rotas and Care Services

  • Ensure that the care worker rotas are organised and sufficiently well planned taking into account travel time and routes

  • Work with Management Team to ensure sufficient current and future staffing levels

  • Plan and allocate care Packages to appropriate care workers, taking into account the particular needs of the individual and the skills and attributes of the worker

  • Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations in developing and delivering holistic, person-centred packages of care to our client

  • Dealing with queries from Staff, clients and families in a professional manner.

  • Carry out on-call coordinating and response duties outside normal office hours

    Must have previous management Experience in Care setting

  • To work as part of a team or independently

  • Knowledge of the Health & Social Care Standards

  • Reliable, passionate & trustworthy

  • Access to their own transport

  • Must Have Good IT Skills and able to work a computer

  • Eligible to work in the UK

  • Flexible to work within multiple environments

  • Currently registered with the SSSC as a manager or wiling to do (Evidence must be provided)

  • Must be flexible and willing to cover shifts at short notice for staff sickness., Must have lived and Worked in the UK for Minimum of 1 Year


  • Experience:
  • Care management: 1 year (required)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (required)
