With 54 bedrooms, communal spaces for socialising and a cinema room where Residents can watch classic films on a weekend afternoon together, Norwood Care Home in Barrhead is the perfect place to enjoy life's later years. This role is part time working 19 hours per week

Your Duties...

Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals as and when required
Provide for special dietary requirements when necessary and take into account the preferences of the residents
Liaise with the Home Manager when planning/costing menus in order to provide a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of available fresh food
Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
Adhere to COSHH standards
Report immediately to the Kitchen Manager, or person in charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident
