Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join The Oak Tree Inn in Balmaha, former Gastropub of the Year. You will be responsible for helping oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant and bar, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties:

- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service

- Train and develop staff members to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner

- Implement effective cost control measures to maximise profitability

- Assisting the F&B Manager to conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide constructive feedback

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies

Previous experience in a similar managerial/supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
