Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Harvesting Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Area Harvesting Manager you will play an in ensuring efficient and
sustainable harvesting operations.


Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing timber harvesting operations, including site management, production,

  • and logistics
  • Collaborate with the Forestry Work Manager to ensure smooth execution of harvesting

  • plans
  • Oversee safety protocols, environmental protection, and compliance

  • Evaluate and optimise harvesting processes for maximum efficiency

  • Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders

  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for sustainable forestry practices

    Degree or equivalent experience in forestry, natural resource management, or related

  • field
  • Proven experience in timber harvesting, site supervision, or related roles

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship

  • A valid driving license is essential
