Full Job Description
An Assistant Manager (Parks & Greenspace Vision) is required to assist in management of award-winning local authority practice; leading the development, design and project-management of a range of projects which will contribute to shaping the future of Glasgow's Parks and open spaces.
You must have a degree, or equivalent level qualification, in a subject related to Landscape Design, Greenspace, the Environment or Sustainability together with demonstrable previous relevant project management/team management experience, project planning and people management skills. You also require to have a minimum 7 years full time Landscape Design experience on a range of project types.
Previous relevant experience of contracts, partnership working, grant funding applications and sourcing funding and managing applications is essential. As are good organisational/ IT/ presentation skills and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential to lead discussions with communities and external partner organisations. A current driving licence is desirable., Disability Confident
