Full Job Description

The Operational Risk Assurance, Assistant Manager role is responsible for performing control testing in operational areas and supporting Managers in the performance of assurance activities and project work as required. The key stakeholders are Risk and Control Owners and other SMEs across CIO and other key areas of the Bank. You will make a difference in your role by providing assurance to management that risk management activities are fully understood, within risk appetite, appropriately controlled and reported on.

Attention to detail and a focus on delivery to meet the agreed assurance plan to time and quality standards
- Being able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with an ability to influence, collaborate and make informed decisions.
- Use own initiative to identify and escalate areas of improvement, taking an active part in the solution.
- Works collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for TSB Bank, showing commitment to shared goals.
- Supports a culture that values, recognises and generates high performance
- Experience in risk management, audit or control testing in one of the following areas Technology, Cyber, Third Party Management, Change or Data.
