We're on the lookout for an experienced and driven Accountant to join the team as Audit and Accounts Manager. Working within a values driven firm, you will have flexibility to your working week and have opportunities for future development and career progression.

We're looking for someone who:

  • You will ideally hold a professional accounting qualification including ICAS or ACCA or equivalent
  • Brings solid experience managing a diverse portfolio of charity and commercial audit clients
  • Experience of both audit and accounting gained within a practice environment is essential
  • Ideally has familiarity with CCH Practice Management and cloud accounting technology like Xero, Quickbooks, or Sage Online.
  • Has excellent communication skills, fostering strong relationships with clients at every level.
  • Excels in providing sound advisory services.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Possesses a flexible and proactive work approach with the ability to prioritise work

You are someone who:

  • Is experienced in leading and overseeing Audits
  • Supervises and guides the audit team throughout the process.
  • Acts as a primary liaison for clients, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Ensures compliance with accounting obligations and collaborates with the Tax team as needed.
  • Nurtures the growth and development of trainees.
  • Communicates regularly with partners and senior managers on assignment progress.
  • Remains committed to ongoing professional development.
