Builders Merchant Sales Assistant - part-time

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to join our Builders Merchants team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the sale of goods, providing First Class customer service and building product knowledge.

Duties:

Communicate in a friendly way with customers and colleagues.

·Provide first class customer service, which may include lifting into the customers vehicle.

· Process sales, card and cash payments as necessary.

· Work with good attention to detail.

· To be able to work on your own initiative and/or as part of a team.

· Show a willingness to gain new skills and knowledge.

· Ensure the cleanliness of the department (stock and fixtures) is maintained

· Replenish stock as required, could involve pallet truck operation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous (although training will be given)

Friendly, helpful and confident when dealing with customers.
