Full Job Description

Eden Scott is delighted to be working with Sidon Water, a Fife based business that provides businesses with innovative and sustainable hard water treatment solutions (limescale and corrosion) that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and protect the environment.

They are now looking to employ a Business Development Manager with an excellent track record in lead generation, to join their ambitious, growing team. This is a business-to-business role that will involve sales call, visits, site surveys and post-installation checks.

This role offers great career progression for the successful candidate in a very rapidly growing business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending appointments generated by the Digital Marketing team, as well as with leads sourced through your own efforts.
  • Follow up calls to key prospects identified through email campaigns.
  • Follow up calls to prospects with outstanding proposals to close sales.
  • Generating site reports/quotes.
  • Maintain, update and manage the customer database and CRM system.
  • Regular reporting to management.
  • Meet weekly/monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Represent the company at Trade Shows (may involve some overseas travel).
  • Ongoing account management with a view to developing new opportunities.

This role requires a creative individual who has:

  • Impeccable honesty and integrity.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM systems), as well as MS Office suite.
  • Experience in a sales role within an engineering / technical industry specifically with water treatment solutions.
  • Must hold driver's license.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.

This role offers a competitive salary with additional performance related bonuses.

Working pattern is Monday to Friday, with travel time throughout the UK (and possibly Europe) 2/3 days per week for customer appointments and site visits. Work Laptop, mobile phone, car allowance will be provided.
