Business Development Manager

My Client, a well respected organisation in the Aberdeen area who are market leaders in their field, are looking to take on a Business Development Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract as Maternity Cover.

In this role, your duties will include:

·        Manage Linkedin content alongside Marketing Agency

·        Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and prospective.

·        Identify new business opportunities within relevant sector through research, industry events, news, networking – (Energy Sector)

·        Harvest new opportunities and pipeline

·        Manage the full sales process form initial enquiry – introductory meeting – assess – propose – close.

·        Coordinate and manage tenders alongside Managing Director and relevant departments where required

·        Create and deliver bespoke presentations to prospective clients with a strong understanding of our key selling points, client needs and challenges, and delivery of our proposition to overcome

·        Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with sector specific trends

·        Manage CRM system, keeping pipeline up to date, forecasting projected business, recording and tracking progress with prospective clients.

·        Plan, manage and host client events to maintain relationships

·        Network with like minded business professionals to support growth and company recognition, inclusive of good referral partners

·        Identify opportunities to produce relevant and up to date marketing content.
