Business Development Manager (Construction)

PFC Careers are working with a well established medium sized building/ refurbishment contractor to recruit a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis.

The business in question have a turnover in the region of 20m and have gone through a sustained period of growth over recent years. The majority of their work is in the fit out and refurbishment sector, however they also operate in other sectors. They have a strong management team as well as a client base who are very loyal to them. They are operate mainly in the central belt of Scotland but also do work as far as the North of Scotland and North East England.

The role is a new within the business, which represents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their own strategy in developing future business to continue this growth

To sustain this growth they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to continue developing prospects within their existing markets and possible new ones. Ideally you will have experience working with a main building contractor and have numerous contacts within the sector. You will be responsible for bringing in new work opportunities and maximising existing ones, Excellent communication skills are a must as well as an ability to work well within a team. The role will report directly in to the board Directors.
