Child and Adolescent Therapist, Band 6 Temporary until 31/3/25

We are looking for an enthusiastic Child and Adolescent Therapist to join the multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service working with young people and their families in West Dunbartonshire HSCP.  The post is based at the Acorn Centre, Vale of Leven Hospital, Alexandria.

You will provide psychological therapies in Tier 3 West Dunbartonshire CAMHS team. You will work independently on allocated caseload, receiving clinical supervision from a Clinical Psychologist at regular intervals.

You will have a degree in Psychology at 2:1 or above and have some experience of working in the NHS and delivering psychological interventions to children and young people.  You will work under the supervision of, and with support from a Clinical Psychologist. You will have experience of working psychologically with children, young people and their families with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, and have specialist knowledge of psychology acquired through relevant NHS experience.
