Full Job Description

This role has both office and field-based responsibilities therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.

As part of the coordinating team at Thistle Care Solutions you will be responsible for maintaining and delivering our high standards of care to our service users and their families at all times.

The main responsibilities of the role are as following:

  • Line management of the community-based care staff

  • Responsible for the creation of weekly client rotas and dealing with ad-hoc changes to existing rotas

  • Liaise with service users and other professionals on a regular basis to maintain our high standard of care, dealing with any queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Monitoring and management of our care staff's absence including the allocation of annual leave

  • Support the Service Manager in the continued growth of the company

  • On-call out of hours service/support on a rotation basis (Additional payment will be made whilst on-call)

  • Staff training

    The ideal candidate has already atained at least SVQ level 3 or above Social Services / Healthcare . Have experience within a care at home setting in a similar role, experience of using a rostering based system, good communication and organisational skills is essential. Experience of training staff., Preparing Rotas: 2 years (preferred)

  • Supervising experience: 1 year (required)

  • care co-ordinator: 2 years (preferred)
