Full Job Description

Finance Transformation is a 3-5 year programme aiming to modernise SSEs Finance function. This includes simplifying processes, systems, controls and data so we can then embark on a digitalisation journey. This transformation will ensure the function is fit for purpose and can move in an agile way to support the implementation of SSEs ambitious strategy, NZAP plus.

The Communication & Change Analyst will actively support the Change and Communications team to design, develop and support the Finance Transformation Programme initiatives and Finances People strategy. They will play a key role in ensuring that all Finance colleagues are aware, informed and engaged in the Programme.

Reporting to the Finance Transformation Internal Communications and Change Lead they will be responsible for;

- Managing change across the Programme to gain trust, understanding and buy-in from stakeholders.

- Developing and delivering innovative communication & engagement plans for programme initiatives and Writing compelling and creative communications material in conjunction with the project team.

- Working with the project team to engage, manage and measure the change impact across all Finance teams.

- Support the further development of the Finance Transformation hub which acts as a central repository for all programme content.

- Assisting with the set-up, mobilisation and ongoing support of a Change Agent Network across Finance.

Experience in managing change, communications & stakeholder engagement as part of a project lifecycle, preferably in a Transformation Programme.

- Experience developing and delivering communications, change and engagement plans.

- Experience of influencing and negotiating effectively; excellent stakeholder management skills.

- A strong understanding of best practice change management, communications, and engagement.

- Strong writing skills and attention to detail and with the ability to think strategically, keeping the overall organisational and Finance vision in mind and relating this to business needs.
